Achievements I left school with 9 GCSE's, I then went on to college where I studied Travel and Tourism and qualified with a Distinction. I then went on to study a Diploma in Media where I qualified and gained many extra certificated qualifications in area's such as: Director Role, Researcher and Radio Production/DJ. I've also taken and passed exams in Customer Care and Marketing. I hold qualifications in spray tanning, sun bed technician, toning tables instructor and pedicure and manicure technician. I've taken part in dance competitions in Street and Hip Hop. While at school I took part in many productions and talent shows of which I am very proud. Until recently I was part of X Factor girl band "The Cover Girls" in which we were "gossiped" about and had a number of photo shoots with national newspapers and Magazines. I've just been crowned Miss Portsmouth 2007 which has been a great confidence booster as I haven't done much in the way of catwalk modeling. I have had to learn to speak a few words of "tourist" Turkish as my family have a holiday home there, I would love to be more fluent in the language as it helps to be able to order a beer! I've helped raise money for various charities such as Oxfam, Cancer Research and am soon to take part in a skydive for the Rainbow Child Foundation. Doing bungee Jumps, race for life and skydives are just the tip of the iceburg, I really want to do a lot more and try my best to make a difference. I've been lucky enough at just 21 to have seen a lot of the world, many beautiful places but so many more to explore. I helped out at the SNAP disco in a local leisure centre, run by the police force in order to encourage children to say no to abuse and drugs. Its such a small thing to do but has such a huge impact on the local community.
Talents
I'm an ambitious Singer songwriter with a fair bit of life experience. I have loved dancing since I was a child. I have done some modeling and would love to do more. I have a great eye for interior design and have been involved with a few projects where I have been able to express myself and show my potential. I have a talent in SHOPPING!! haha, and love being creative with clothing. I go to the gym and like to keep fit, I also swim and love to go on long walks. I do nail extension and design and hair extensions for friends and family.
Ambitions
To aspire to be successful in everything I turn my hand to. I feel privileged to be representing Portsmouth in the Miss England pageant and it would be even more amazing to represent England in Miss World. I have an ambition to be part of London and NY fashion week. Working with top designers and the latest fashions would be a dream come true. I would like to inspire young children to follow their dreams and to never give up as is often the case when hitting their teenage years.
