Throughout my life, i have been adventurous and energetic in everything i do and simultaneously shown dedication to any commitments made. This combination has allowed me to achieve many things, both in academics and outside. My most rewarding academic achievements to date include achieving the highest GCSE results of the year at Secondary School, representing my college at the European Youth Parliament, Acting as President of the debate society and fulfilling the role of Head Girl at School and college for consecutive years.
I currently work within the Investment Banking division (Derivatives) of JPMorgan Chase Bank. In order to land this role, I went through four very lengthy and vigirous interviews. I left the offices thinking they went terribly but the feedback was the complete opposite! Landing this role at JPMorgan was a very fulfilling experience.
At A-Level, I studied English Language (A), Law (A) and Business Economics (B). Achieving these results was very challenging and thus the result very satisfying. In addition, achieving 100% in my mathematics exam at my University, Imperial College London is a significant personal achievement as I worked extremely hard.
My most recent non academic achievement is doing charity work in India. The reason I refer to this as an achievement is because its more personally rewarding than other acomplishments that have less substance. I liaised with family and friends in India 4 months prior to going. Whilst out there, I personally financed and attended the weddings of 3 girls, whose parents could not afford to pay for their daughters' marriages. The appreciation the parents showed was overwhelming. I felt blessed for being able to help others in this way.
I have embraced an ethical lifestyle as a way of life and urge the youth of England to do the same! Recycling, giving old clothes to local charities, minimal use of water in the househould... such small efforts, if enacted within all households in England, will help reduce the speed of the depletion of natural resources!

Ambitions
I believe that success is based on imagination, ambition and the will to work. The ABC of success is ability, breaks and courage. So far, many small successes have given me the confidence to strive for a big success. I urge all young women: 'Head up ladies! The only thing to fear is fear itself.'
As an individual, I am very optimistic about life, hard working and ambitious. Throughout my life, I have always set very high goals for myself to allow me to continously progress and improve so that one day, Im in a strong enough position to make my mark in the world.
I entered Miss England mainly for two reasons. Firstly because I believe I am a suitable role model, not only for young British Asian women but for young women in general. I am a leading individual. I am ambitious, confident, educated and sincere. In addition, through fulfilling academic and non academic roles, I have become a strong public speaker and so can competently fulfill the role of a representative.
Secondly, I have entered due to my passion for raising awareness to help resolve societal issues. Winning Miss England would provide the perfect platform, the perfect oppurtunity to capture an audience of young women so that I can communicate important and necessary messages. From raising awareness about global issues (e.g. the presence of 200,000 child soldiers in south Africa and the horrendous scale of domestic violence in Russia) to local issues, such as the increase in diabetes and street crime.
