Achievements Achieving 12 A*-C GCSEs which also meant I was one of only two people to win an award for Academic Excellence at my high school. Due to my hard work and determination, I was also able to achieve over 90% in all my A Levels: Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics as well as in my AS Level in Economics. I have achieved an upper second in Mathematics from Imperial College London and achieved a first for my final year of studies which I am very proud of. In addition to this, I have won the Bronze Award in the International Olympiad in Chemistry in 2006 and was part of the only girls team to ever win the East London Mathematics Challenge in 2000. As well as my academics, I am also proud of organising a very successful girls cricket club in my sixth form, winning ‘Babe of the Year’ award at my sixth form and choreographing dances for various shows. Furthermore, I have a set up a business where I offer tuition to students. This business means a lot to me because of the difference I am able to make to my students. More recently, my achievements include obtaining a trainee accountancy contract with a prestigious company and the very exciting Miss Asian Woman title!
Talents I have a keen interest in Bollywood hence I enjoy dancing and acting. I am also a good public speaker and teacher.
Ambitions I would love to win the Miss England competition and represent my country in Miss World. I hope to be a role model to young girls as a modern, strong woman. I used to be the ‘ugly duckling’ through my school life. Hence it is very important for me to be able to use such a prestigious position to help other girls realise that determination, intelligence and a good heart as well as confidence are the most important and attractive qualities for a woman to have. As well as this, I would hope to become a successful tax advisor and prosper in business. I would also hope to do some acting work as this has been a life long dream! In addition to this, I would like to see more of the world and learn about different cultures. I would also like to help others who are less fortunate than us by getting involved in more charity work.
