Achievements My most recent achievement was winning Miss Reading, being able to represent the area in which I was brought up in and has made me who I am today makes me feel extremely proud. I also won my local Woodley Carnival Queen in 2000. Winning a modelling competition at the age of 17 for a well known Asian radio station - Club Asia was a big achievement for my age at the time, I was picked from 400 other girls from all over the country. This lead to several radio appearances, appearing in several fashion shows for Asian bridal exhibitions. Appearing on stage involved in the catwalk for recent zee carnival which was broadcast on TV, being interviewed by b4u (a leading Asian television channel) on the set of a music video in which I was the lead girl: the video was also a top 10 hit in the Asian charts, being offered presenting jobs for major Asian channels such as zee and b4u and also being offered film roles, all just before the age of 18. Another accomplishment I am extremely passionate about is my modeling and appearing in Asian woman magazine in the May and June Issues. Achieving A levels and entering university at which I have just completed my second year in studying biomedical sciences were also my proudest academic achievements. I believe that all my accomplishments to date have made my personality grow and develop into the individual I am today.
Talents I have learnt classical Indian dancing - Bharatnatyam for the last 16 years at which I can perform at all levels, I also do hip hop and street dancing which I enjoy as I am passionate about music. Acting, being bi lingual - speaking my mother tongue and make up artistry.
Ambitions My Greatest ambition is to represent England in the Miss World finals but just competing in Miss England is one of my ambitions. I would like to become successful in whatever path I choose in life as there are so many options available. I aim to finish my degree in Biomedical sciences whilst also pursuing my dreams of becoming a well known face across the community as a Role model most truly to the Asian community as I feel there aren't many role models but also I would like to be seen as a role model across all multi cultural societies. Being from a mixed background an Indian mother and English father I am proud of my heritage. I want to inspire children and people in every way possible. To also motivate them to fulfill their dreams and for every child to have an education are a few of my crucial ambitions.
