2ND RUNNER UP IN MISS ENGLAND 2007
I was a member of MENSA at the age of 4. I was awarded an academic scholarship to attend a special school for gifted children. During my first month at this school I was moved up a year and therefore completed my entire schooling a year above that which I should have been. At the age of 10 I took mathematics SATS papers used in secondary schools to test children aged 14. I continued my schooling to win a scholarship to a GDST secondary school where I completed my Maths and RE GCSE's two years early and 10 more GCES's a year later. I was awarded A's and A*'s in all of these exams. I successfully completed my A levels being awarded similar grades, and was awarded places at all 6 Universities I applied for to study Psychology. Although I declined these places and decided to explore the more creative side of me and accepted a scholarship to The Urdang Academy in which I am in my final year of studying to complete my National Diploma in Professional Musical Theatre. I have been used as an ambassador for this college and my photo opens the website and a huge banner with my picture on is in the entrance to the college building. I competed internationally in an invitational gymnastic competition and won the most expressive floor routine. I have won numerous medals and awards. I was successful in representing Essex last year in this competition and was proud to make the final seven girls and won the Miss Home Counties and East Anglia county queen award. I represented London in the Miss European Cities Pageant in Portugal last year in which I made the final 6 and was awarded the title of Miss Simpatia, which translates in English to Miss Congeniality/Friendly. I have performed in various West End Theatres including, The Theatre Royal Drury Lane and The Bloomsbury Theatre. I was a child model and have been in various magazines and shop window posters. I have also been in 4 music videos including a Spice Girl one at the age of 12. I have been commended for my help in the local community where I teach Gymnastics voluntary.
Talents I am a trained dancer and excel in all forms including, Ballet, Jazz, Heels Jazz, Pas des Deux, Contemporary and Tap. I am a successful Gymnast and Sports Acrobat. I am a trained singer and I also have a passion for acting. I have played for multiple sports teams including, Rugby, Football, Hockey, Rounders, Cricket Swimming, Athletics and Netball.
Ambitions My main ambition is to be a recognised role model for young girls. I believe the type of people we have had to represent England on a global level to be so disappointing and I think we need a moral person for the youth to aspire to be. I would like to do charity work to raise money for AIDS and Cancer as my family has been affected by both of these diseases and the effects of them both around the world are devastating. I would like a successful career in London's West End and would love the opportunity to represent England in Miss World 2007! If I was to be successful in this competition I would use my title to encourage more underprivileged children to follow their dreams because belief and encouragement are the key to success and so many children have the ability to make something of themselves but lack the confidence and encouragement to do so.
