Achievements My main achievements lie with in my horse riding. I have ridden since the age of six and have owned my own pony for ten years. I competed at a national level for eight years and qualified for many major championships including: BSPS, PUK, NCPA and NSP. I also rode for show pony teams and producers at RIHS and HOYS levels. Being at the top level of my sport I was able to learn to perform confidently infront of thousands of people and I gained recognition for my talent allowing me to take first place in the England and Wales annual points awards with my own pony at twelve years of age. Due to my close bond with my pony and the results I had I started to teach other people my skills and break and school other peoples horses. I have not competed now for a few years as my efforts have had to be put in to my academic work but I will compete again in the future. At school I worked hard and attained thirteen GCSE's mainly all A*'s, A's and B's. This helped me in college to gain all A's and B's within in my A-levels. Also at school I was interested in sport and charity events. I was the captain of the hockey and rounders teams and also took part in athletics teams running the 400m aswell as the netball and football teams. At a younger age I was a very skilled gymnast and I regularly attended gymnastics and acrobatics. Unfortunately I could not put time in to both riding and gym so I chose to further my riding. I also won an international art competition, which was ran by Honda. I represented and won great prizes for my school. My latest achievement was to win Miss Middlesbrough 2007. This title means the world to me and I am so proud to represent my area for a whole year and to compete in Miss England 2007.
Talents My main talent lies with in my horse riding. I have an ability to break and school, compete and teach to a high level. I enjoy my sport very much and when I am in a position to continue I aim to own my own livery yard, riding school and showing yard so that I promote the sport. I am also very talented in art and was very interested in drama, singing and dancing at school as well as my gymnastics. I am also very interested in socialising and I believe that I am good at making new friends and meeting new people. I enjoy clubbing with my friends and I especially enjoy Retro and Tall Trees in Yarm. I like to spend time with my mum who is my best friend of all. We enjoy going to the cinema and the stables together. I would also saw that I am talented with in my learning. Not only have I achieved great results in my exams but I have learnt many new skills with in my different jobs. I currently work at TFM Radio Station doing promotions work, aswell as teaching people to ride. I love to work with the public, which has enabled me to be a confident speaker and a good listener.
Ambitions My main, current ambition is to win Miss England 2007. I have suprised myself so much by winning Miss Middlesbrough and I must thank my mum, my boyfriend and my friends for all the support they have given me to help me achieve what I have. I hope that Miss England will give me the opportunity to do more work for charity and to further my own modelling ambitions and dreams. I would love to compete in Miss World and to win Miss World would be the greatest achievement I could possibly think of. I also aim to travel and see as much of the world as possible as well as to meet as many new people as possible and to explore new cultures. I also aim to have a successful career; not only with in modelling, but also with in my riding. I believe that my confidence and determination will allow me to achieve such things. My biggest ambition is to make my mum proud and to live a happy life.
