Achievements I have just won Miss Goddess Hair 2007! This is my biggest achievement yet. To get to the Miss England Finals was one of my goals and I have accomplished it! I am a carnival finalist dancer for Birmingham which has enabled me to compete in several places including Leeds, Manchester, Birmingham and Notting Hill. In 2006 I flew out to St Kitts in the Caribbean to compete and represent England in carnival this was a real big acheivement for me to represent such a multi-cultural country such as England. In 2004 I was awarded 2nd runner-up for a police poster campaign design and was awarded by the OCU commander. I have also had a poem published in the Young writer’s cosmic anthology. My coat dress I designed and made has been used for 3 years on the University Of Central England prospectus representing the fashion degree. I used to attend City Of Birmingham young voices, which enabled us to sing for the Queen for her golden jubilee, and perform at the Symphony Hall on many occasions.
Talents My talents are dancing and designing! I dance in carnivals all around the UK and abroad, this enables me to meet new people and travel to many different places. I have a passion for fashion, so I have learnt how to pattern cut and make clothing. This is the direction in my career that will lead me to one of my dreams
Ambitions I have always had ambitions, one of them was to compete in Miss England, I always reach for my goals and to the stars, and the sky is my limit, which means I have achieved one of my goals by getting to this stage! And hopefully I can achieve my dream of winning the title. I also have an ambition to become a successful woman in the fashion industry. This is my passion and my dream. I am ambitious, determined, extremely hard working and definitely not afraid of failure so this makes me a persistent individual. I take every day as if it was my last! Challenges and experiences are both crucial to my life, without experiences I wouldn’t know what to expect in life, and without challenges I wouldn’t be pushed to my full capability. I am a friendly, sociable person who has a wonderful personality. I never allow my light dim so I am looking towards a bright and successful future...
